ELIG provides community and sharing activities for its members, targeted actions and projects as well as communication and updates about trends and tendencies in the learning solutions industry.
Activities include:
Participation in EU events (Conferences and Workshops) and stakeholder groups to provide industry input to key programmes and initiatives.
Regular visits to key policy makers in the European Commission (Commissioners such as Commissioner Figel and Reding, Directors, Heads of Units and key Principle Administrators.
Research and Benchmarking projects such as the joint ELIG/ETF MEDA region project.
ELIG organizes membership groups for focus on specific subject based on membership requirements (e.g. a Public Policy Group).
Influencing and stakeholder activities at EC level to help shape research and policy programmes.
ELIG presence and keynotes and breakout sessions in major conferences such as Online Educa Berlin, EDEN and others and this provides speaking opportunities to its members for visibility i.e. to present their company in the context of ELIG.
ELIG holds an Annual General Meeting as an industry thought leadership and sharing event. These meetings are hosted by ELIG Executive Committee members (this year Intel in Dublin)
ELIG is establishing linkage and synergy with country eLearning and learning solutions industry groups to combine forces on the policy level and to eventually run joint events/initiatives.
